Get To Know Lyrical Diva
The RBM: What do you love most about writing?
Lyrical Diva: I love being able to use my imagination and writing allows me to do just that. I
can be whomever, where ever, whenever, but most importantly writing allows me to be myself.
I love being a storyteller it's a wonderful way to relax and get things off of my mind.

The RBM: You are a music lover, so are there any artists or types of music that inspires
you to write when you hear them?
Lyrical Diva: I'm a Huge music fan. Music definitely plays a major part in my writing process,
well that and the rain, another favorite. I love the oldies, Smokey, Stevie, Barry, The
Temptations, Diana, list goes on. Yeah I have an old soul, so I've been told lol. Today I have to
say I get inspired by a lot of neo-soul/R&B music. Anita Baker, Floetry, Mary J, Maxwell etc.

The RBM: What's the ONE thing you like most about Mecca and why?
Lyrical Diva: Oh that's easy, I love the family like atmosphere Mecca provides. Everyone here
supports and encourages each other and you can tell that they're being genuine. When you're
missing from the board for a while you get your PM's or emails from people to check up on you
to see how you're doing. It's always nice to know that someone cares.

The RBM: What's the ONE thing you like least and why?
Lyrical Diva: I hate when the server acts up, not being able to log in or out or post a response.
But that's the web for you. I have no complaints about Mecca.

The RBM: Living in New York there are literally hundreds of things to do (maybe more),
if you could suggest three places for a tourist to see, where would you send them?
Lyrical Diva: To the bank, lol J/k (well not really) Seriously, just three places? Well, first off
New York is a huge place full of hundreds of things to do. Depending on your taste and the time
in which you choose to visit. You can find something to do day and night, it literally is the city
that never sleeps, trains and buses run 24/7 I suggest you come during the summer time. I
would recommend that you (1.) Go to the top of the Empire State building at night. The skyline
is beautiful. Fellas there is a restaurant at the top, so if you want to impress someone
special......... (2.) Take a tour of the city on the double-decker bus. (3.) Take a horse and
carriage ride through Central Park, also a great place to relax and write. New York is great, if I
didn't live here I would want to visit.
